October Instagram Challenge Day 14: Orange

This theme was blessedly easy to do. I even used the new dress that I won from Xanadu's giveaway, and that she made. I bought several mini pumpkins to put throughout our home, so I used one in this photo. The background is scrapbook paper, and it makes for such a great all-around fall backdrop.

I skipped yesterday's theme. It was "Conjure," and I just wasn't getting any picture ideas. Tomorrow's theme is "Magic," and I'm not getting a lot of inspiration for that one, either. There are several coming up that I will be doing, though, so the Halloween fun is not over yet.

  1. Are the mini pumpkins real? Or just decorative? I really want my own, real, personal, mini pumpkin to roast right now!

  2. Yep, the mini pumpkins are real. And apparently there are recipes to scoop out the innards, stuff them with various ingredients, and bake them. I'm sorry to be giving you such cravings for pumpkins. They aren't even in season in spring!

I do have Barbie-sized pumpkins that are fake, though.

    1. Oh my! I am going to hunt until I find real life mini roastable pumpkins! Then I will live on them!

  3. That's a cute photo! For "magic" you could use your Harry Potter dolls, or any other witch/fairy related doll.

    1. Thank you! I only have the one Harry Potter doll, and she's in pieces and needs to be sold. Can't stand Harry Potter, to be honest.

I have some Tinkerbell and friends fairy dolls, but I'm just not getting a creative spark to take a picture. Still have time here though, so maybe something will come up.

  4. I LOVE Halloween posts. Thanks for sharing this cutie in her new orange dress. I'll look forward to seeing other Halloween posts.

Fall and Winter have the most fun holidays ;-)

  5. She looks quite the little cutie in that knit Barb, but did you know it also makes a great cardi for a larger doll??? :) I love Halloween posts, I think it's the colour, it's so bright and cheerful one cannot feel anything else but happy.
    Big hugs,
    X

    1. Xanadu, that hadn't occurred to me, but I don't have any larger dolls that would fit, so that's probably why. Yes, fall colors are so warm and bright.
