Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Erin and Ju-Ting are celebrating St. Patrick's Day at their favorite Irish bar.

I ended up having to take pictures at my own favorite restaurant to use on the backdrop wall of the bar, because it's really hard to find good pictures online that aren't quite expensive. It was fun to make, though. Hope you enjoy St. Patrick's Day if you're also celebrating!

  1. Cleveland has a lot of people of Irish descent, so a lot of people here celebrate it. We usually even have a parade every year downtown. I bet the bartender is related to your Anthony. :) I'm hoping to go out with my daughter later!

    1. Thank you, sometimes you just need to get what you need from around you. My daughter and I went out, and she got a green margarita, and we had a good time. :)

  4. Happy belated St. Patrick's day! We don't celebrate it, but the 19th (today) is Father's Day in Spain, and in some regions it's bank holiday.
I love the diorama, it's a great background for doll photography. I love the combination of dark wood and brick walls. The chairs are so cool, they add a pop of color. I think you did a fantastic job, and the photos you took of the drink add some realism to the overall scene.

    Wish you a lovely weekend.

  5. Hey that backdrop turned out really well Barb, I think it looks fabulous and how clever of you to think about doing that! I wish you had taken progress shots though, it would have been really cool to see it come together in stages.

St. Patrick's day came and went before I realised it, I honestly don't know where the first three months of this year have gone. I hope you enjoyed yours and had a Guinness or two. 😊
    Big hugs,
    X

    1. Thank you, Xanadu! Next time I make a diorama like this, I will think about taking progress shots. The hardest thing for this one was making the bar out of printed paper and foamcore.

Despite the fact that I am part German and part Irish, I don't like beer. :O My daughter and I went out on St. Patrick's Day, and she got a green margarita, if that counts. :)
