Quck Post
Just throwing this up here to say that I am still alive, and I really, really want to post the next chapter in my story. But I had a bad weekend and a busy day today. And then finally one of the tires on my car got a big hole in it and shredded itself by the time I could get off the freeway. So I don't know how I'm going to be spending tomorrow, either. I'm too tired to even crop and throw up some pictures I've taken while shopping recently. I hope you all are doing well.

Poor Miss Barbie, I wondered where you were! I got that post on American Girl clothes back up if you're still interested in in that, and if you're not, no biggie. I hope everything calms down a bit for you; those danged tires are no joke!

DeleteYeah, it was a difficult weekend, and then yesterday was just the icing on the cake, as it were. I read your post, but for some reason my tablet and phone insist on keeping me on my Google Plus identity, where I use my real name, so no commenting except on my desktop.
DeleteThroughout my childhood, my elderly relatives called me Barbie, and I put up with it out of respect for my elderly relatives. But yeah, I do prefer Barb. :) I bet you type Barbie a lot more than Barb, though, since you like dolls. :)

I'm hoping to get the next chapter up today, if I can work out lighting for the pictures I still have to take. Or maybe I'll just put it up without the extra pictures.
DeleteIt looks like the car just needs a new tire. I was just worried about driving on the spare, and how we'd get Mr. BTEG to the Park 'n Ride bus, and the Dancer to college, with only one car. But apparently I can get enough mileage off of the spare to do only the driving that I was already going to have to do today. And we should be able to get a new tire tomorrow.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties this past weekend. Both of our cars have an issue or two so I totally get the stress! Hoping it resolves for you soon and you can get back to enjoy Your other hobbies. 💗
